Platform
From one node to a cluster, without starting over
Most platforms make you choose your final size on day one. SynVirt grows in place: the upgrade path from Standalone to Twin to Cluster is non-destructive.

- Standalone: one hyperconverged node with local ZFS — perfect for a first server or a lab
- Twin: two nodes with synchronous DRBD replication and a lightweight quorum witness — if one fails, the other takes over
- Cluster: three or more nodes with etcd consensus, distributed VM scheduling and live migration
- Node-to-node mesh secured with mutual TLS and public-key pinning
- Any minority of cluster nodes can fail — the cluster keeps running
This is HCI the way an SMB actually buys hardware: start with what you have, add a node when you need it, never migrate to a “bigger edition” of the platform.
