1. Guardian failover drill (ACT 2/4 of the matrix) — needs ≥2 hosts that can mount the same shared datastore. Live: only .65 mounts NFS (.56 isolated by the SEV; .75 has no nfs-common, apt no candidate under its +5mo clock skew). Guardian logic is unit-tested; the live drill waits on a 2nd NFS-capable host. Spec ready: e2e/guardian-failover.spec.ts.
2. Maintenance Mode + Placement Rules — both gate on the Live Motion executor (still stubbed), which is the real unlock. Cut from the bottom per the brief.
3. Full 3-node cluster matrix — .56 down (reboot to recover). The 2-node cluster (.65+.75) proved the path.
4. .75 NFS — apt has no nfs-common candidate (clock skew breaks repo signatures). Host prereq, not a code issue.
